Test Web Design
October 3, 2006Here is a test web design, why i did what i did (apart from the obvious reason of being told to do it in the first place ^^) is in the main body of text.
Can someone explain why firefox never ever shows table borders? I remember battling with them last year too.
I like the colour scheme and the text is a nice size and easy to read. I like the links along the bottom too.
Some interesting and effective design here. I am not sure what you mean by Firefox not showing borders, those you have set to show do so on my browser. Looking at the code view gives a good example of the way that HTML tables bloat the code when you try to style them. Hopefully CSS will help with this.

In IE the border colour and spacing appears differently to firefox. IE apperance is how i was wanting it.
yeah its trditional no flashy popup menus flying all ver the place but i agree sometimes a simple design means less can go wrong but everyone understands how it works and where things are and if the content is god enough pictres movies then you have an accesable clear meaningfull site.
